Late to the party, but yes, my 3-month old Fenix 6 has never been even remotely accurate. I replaced a Forerunner 935 with it and used to run with the FR935 on one wrist and the Fenix 6 on the other for comparison. Although the Fenix 6 is generally better in almost every way, the HR is up to 40 BPM higher than the FR935.

I’ve noticed on my easy runs it will say 160-171 at times and beep at me to bring it down but then I’ll test it by using my fingers in my neck and it’s like 108. Today was the most frustrating. Garmin recommend a threshold run of 2 6m intervals at 168bpm. Great, no problem.
