Kinda like the south park game mixed with a final fantasy. It has the grid based movement during combat but is a lot deeper game as a whole. Heroes of might and magic! 2 and 3 specifically were so damn good for their time, and honestly I still think heroes 3 complete holds up as a fun tactical game to this day. The Fractured But Whole is more polished, but basically I look at it this way: both of those games are like getting an entire season of South Park, and The Stick of Truth is the funnier season. As far as the early games go, there's a point where gameplay becomes so bad it distracts from everything else.
The Fractured But Whole picks up right after The Stick of Truth, with Cartman putting an end to the fantasy LARP so the neighbourhood kids can start working on the much more important business of solving South Park's crime problems and working on their superhero franchise of movies, cartoons and Netflix series. That Marvel money is tempting stuff.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole. I played South Park: The Stick of Truth and loved it to bits. The gameplay, was simple and repetitive. It was the only downside to the game with it being a cakewalk the whole time (like you can heal and attack in the same turn). The story was engaging, entertaining, and felt like a long episode of South Park Go to Freeman’s Tacos on Main Street. Inside, use the counter on the left to get behind the register. Punch Morgan Freeman three times to intitiate the optional boss fight. NOTE: Morgan Freeman The first game only takes 8 to 12 hours. I am willing to bet that Fractured But Whole takes longer. They barely scratched the surface of the show. I'd love to be able to go to Imaginationland or freeze myself Cartman style and go into the 26th Century Buck Rogers style or maybe go into space and help Starvin Marvin out or have Casa Bonita as an cTSKZP.
