Haven't enough experience to comment on 2015 yet; clearly not as basic as Rivals but not as twitchy as Payback. Payback menu system/upgrades/wrap (content)/performance tuning is a dumbed down version of 2015. Rivals is clearly still previous gen console thinking about how to do things.
Neither. Save up for Payback or Horizon 3 if you have an Xbox / PC. I find Rivals much more enjoyable to play (the driving model is much more smooth and predictable), but there is little to no customisation in it. 2015 has it beat hands down in that department; sadly I just don't enjoy the feel of driving in it. It's interesting the derelict stuff, but it's painful that you need to find ALL derelicts to unlock them at the dealerships (IMO, you should be able to unlock them once you get certain derelict, not the 5 of them). Also, multiplayer there is practically useless, very ded. Online is absolutely better on Heat, 2015, Rivals.
